Side sleepers know the problem. You spend real money on a sleeping pad and a sleeping bag and you still wake up with your hips rotated and your back aching because nothing exists to support your knees and torso the way your body pillow at home does.
I've tried every workaround: stuff sacks, rolled jackets, carrying a second pillow. None of it works well enough. So I started building something. It's called Drifell.
It's a backpacking body pillow designed specifically for side sleepers. It's quiet, packable, and built to actually feel like a pillow rather than an inflatable pool toy. I'm still prototyping. It's not for sale yet. But if this sounds like something you've been wishing existed, leave your email and I'll let you know when it's ready.
